Pieter Toerien's Theatre on the Bay offers guest the chance to enjoy top class live shows at one of most beautiful theatres in Cape Town. The stylish building is situated just behind the coastal road in the vibrant Camps Bay area, and comes to life at night when the spotlights highlight the building while the large windows on the front of the theatre allow for a magnificent view of the interior as well as provide guests with spectacular views of the ocean.

The Artscape Theatre Centre is a landmark in terms of Cape Town theatres, having been opened in 1971 as the Nico Malan Theatre Centre before being renamed in 2001. The massive venue recently underwent an enormous R29 million makeover which improved the overall appearance of the entire venue, as well as increased seating from 1200 to 1500. The Artscape Theatre Centre comprises of a number of venues which include the theatre, opera house and the arena. There are also a number of restaurants and bars to cater for guests, while the spacious Founders Gardens and the impressive Piazza at the front of the theatre centre can be used for film shots, outdoor concerts, and marquee tents. The one corner of the gardens is also currently home to the Zip Zap Circus training school.

For an evening of delightful theatre visit the New Space Theatre on Long Street, Cape Town. This theatre has filled a desperate gap in the arts theatre circuit in Cape Town and offers theatre lovers a long overdue variety of wonderful drama and music.

The Baxter Theatre Centre celebrates life, dance, music and theatre in the heart of Rondebosch, just below the University of Cape Town. It is a major theatre venue and has delivered award winning productions for many years.
